Baktiari (Bakhtiari) rugs are form a part of Zargros Mountains located in a central region of Iran. Their rugs have one of the highest quality wool and are always dyed with locally sourced natural dyes. While multi panel motif is not exclusively done by them, Baktiari weavers perfected it the point that this overall layout is universally recognized as theirs.
